PHILIPSBURG:— House of Nehesi Publishers (HNP) donated a variety of books to Philipsburg Jubilee Library (PJL) last Friday at the library’s temporary location on WJA Nisbeth Road. “We at Philipsburg Jubilee Library wish to thank you for contributing towards our/your library,” said PJL’s interim director Irmin Hughes to the publisher. The books, by Caribbean, USA, and Middle East authors, representing five languages, were published here by HNP. The books are contributions to ongoing “post-Irma rebuilding and re-stocking of library shelves, for study and for the reading pleasure of our children and adults,” said HNP president Jacqueline Sample.
