Stabbing convict stabbed in prison. | SMN NEWS

PHILIPSBURG:—The convict who brutally stabbed Estika Halley one year ago was stabbed in his cell at the Pointe Blanch Prison on Monday, SMN News was reliably informed. MB was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment for brutally assaulting the former Senior Carnival Queen.

The defendant, initials M.B., was stabbed all over his body by an unknown inmate while in his cell block.

The man, who is Halley’s ex-partner, repeatedly stabbed her and left her critically injured on the roadside.

He was sentenced for attempted murder and aggravated assault for the heinous attack that occurred near Emerald Funeral Home in July 2022.
M.B. was rushed to the St. Maarten Medical Center on Monday and remained there under guard as he survived the attack. No official word as yet from Prison Management on Tuesday
