Pond Island:— TelEm Group has announced that effective November 1, 2023, the official exchange rate of ANG 1.82 Guilders to the US Dollar will be applied to all our products and services. This adjustment is in line with the official exchange rate established by the Central Bank of Curacao and Sint Maarten for foreign exchange transactions. Previously, TelEm Group has been operating at an exchange rate of ANG 1.78.
Impact on Services and Systems
The new rate will be incorporated into the company’s billing, point of sales (POS), and SAP accounting systems to ensure alignment with this update. Services that are advertised in USD, but billed in ANG, such as Mobile, Landline, Duo Play, Triple Play, Connect Me, and IPTV+, will see adjustments in their Guilder value to reflect this rate change. The new ANG 1.82 rate will also apply to all prepaid mobile sales.
