PHILIPSBURG:—TelEm Group customers and the general public are informed that at approximately 3:00 pm today, Tuesday, the company’s fixed internet and mobile internet services were interrupted by a loss in bandwidth capacity between St. Maarten and the connecting Service Provider in Miami.
According to TelEm Group, Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Eldert Louisa, the exact cause of the problem at 5:30 pm Tuesday evening was unknown, but the company’s technicians and engineers worked closely with their counterparts in Miami and throughout the link path of the service, to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
