Pond Island:-- TelEm Group Outside Plant (OSP) technicians are informing the general public of plans to repair and upgrade underground cables in several areas this weekend. The cables are being replaced due to damage caused by Hurricane Irma and also because of corrosion.
The OSP crews will begin work Saturday, May 26 at 6:00 am in the morning until 5:00 pm in the evening in the following areas: A.Th Illidge Road (Between Windward Islands Bank and the Shell gas station); Claude Estate, Dominica Drive.
Work will continue on Sunday, May 27, from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm in the following areas: Cay Hill/Cul de Sac; AJC Brouwers Road, LB Scott Road.
Business and residential customers in the areas mentioned above can expect interruptions in their regular service during the scheduled work hours.
TelEm Group apologizes to all affected customers for any inconvenience caused by the weekend work program.
