PHILIPSBURG:--- Suspended Member of Parliament Theodore Heyliger who is in pretrial detention has been rushed to the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) for a medical emergency.
SMN News learned that Heyliger has been admitted to SMMC for doctors to run tests and determine if he would need to undergo surgery for a urinary tract infection he obtained due to having gout in his system way too long without medical treatment.
It is further understood that Heyliger refused to go and see his doctor because he did not want the prison guards to
