PHILIPSBURG:— Suspended Member of Parliament Theodore Heyliger who is in pretrial detention has been rushed to the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) for a medical emergency.
SMN News learned that Heyliger has been admitted to SMMC for doctors to run tests and determine if he would need to undergo surgery for a urinary tract infection he obtained due to having gout in his system way too long without medical treatment.
