PHILIPSBURG:— Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs announced on Wednesday that due to the COVID-19 contact tracing two civil servants have been identified as persons that were in contact with someone that is infected by COVID-19. The Prime Minister said that these civil servants have not been tested positive they were sent home to self-quarantine. She said because of this contact the government of St. Maarten has decided to sanitize and fumigate the third floor where the civil servants work and the elevators to prevent any type of cross-contamination.
