PHILIPSBURG:— Two temporary employees of Motorworld were robbed at gunpoint Monday night at Acqua Marine.
According to information provided to SMN News by Motorworld the two persons came in from Colombia to install furniture for Motorworld new showroom. The company accommodated the two foreign workers at Acqua Marine for the duration of their stay on St. Maarten.
The two persons are scheduled to leave St. Maarten today (Tuesday, May 9th). Motorworld representative Daniel Singh told SMN News that one of the persons lost their passport during the daring gunpoint robbery. Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said he is not aware of the case as he did not get any information from the Robbery Team on Tuesday morning. SMN News will update this article as soon as the Police release information.
