PHILIPSBURG:--- As part of UNICEF Netherlands’ hurricane preparedness campaign, the children’s rights organization, will be organizing a video workshop and competition geared towards youth ages 8 – 18. Competition prizes include ‘surprise-kits’ valued at $300 for various ages.

The workshop, on June 15, will touch on UNICEF Netherlands’ work, hurricane preparedness information and how to create short videos with a smartphone. The videos that participants will create during the workshop will focus on preparing and involving the youth in hurricane preparedness.
