Unstable water pressure tripped GEBE's unit tripped. | SMN News

Cay Bay:---- Over the weekend NV GEBE's Power Plant encountered some issues with the HT (High Temperature) water system with one of its largest production units. Due to the unstable water pressure, the protection devices tripped the production unit several times which in turn caused power outages in particular districts throughout the day.

Water interruption also became an issue in certain areas due to the loss of power.

NV GEBE's Technicians, Engineers and Water Operations spent their Saturday troubleshooting the issues to ensure that power and water would be restored to the community in the shortest possible time.
