PHILIPSBURG–In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of St. Maarten Carnival, newly-formed Carnival troupe Team Inferno is partnering with Motorworld to celebrate the Carnival parade “in grand style and splendour” under the theme “Passion and Fire.”

“Team Inferno is a big believer in collaborations, especially during times like these, where we are still rebuilding our communities, businesses and economy since Hurricane Irma.

“It is with this background that we are super-excited to launch the Inferno troupe with a sense of pride in our resilient culture and also share with the rest of our revellers and the community of St. Maarten that Motorworld will be joining us as a presenting partner in one of our sections. We would like to express our gratitude to Motorworld for coming on board and for trusting us with providing them with an unforgettable experience on the road,” Inferno troupe Leader Diana Washington said.

“The energy and the hype surrounding one of the biggest cultural moments of the island is felt by everyone, both locally and overseas,” Motorworld Managing Director Tariq Amjad said.

“Through this partnership with the Inferno troupe, we mainly support our hard-working staff who will be participating as revellers in the costumes, while featuring a fabulous showcase of our hottest auto models, along with various giveaways to give back to the community. We are also excited to be able to join forces with Team Inferno, an organization that, just like us, focuses on quality products and positive experiences for everyone.”

Interested persons can still register to participate with the Team Inferno troupe.

“We have extended our registration period and are encouraging the revellers to make use of this opportunity, as we are aiming to close off registration so that we can focus on production and delivery in a timely manner,” Washington said.

Registration is available online via the link or visit the Inferno camp at A.Th. Illidge Road #63, across from the drugstore. For ongoing updates, continue to visit the Inferno Facebook Page
