St. Maarten – Chippie, the mobile service of UTS, will once again be one of the major sponsors of the 36th annual St. Maarten Heineken Regatta. The mobile brand partners with the St. Maarten Yacht Club to support the event that brings many visitors to the island on a yearly basis. The company will offer various specials and promotions to the public at the Regatta parties which will be held this weekend at various locations.
“We’ve developed offers that we are certain our customers will appreciate, featuring our 4G LTE mobile internet service, with some extra surprises thrown in here and there for good measure.” says UTS Marketing and Communications Officer Ivy Lambert. “We are happy to be able to continue our partnership with the St. Maarten Yacht Club to assist them in staging this momentous and ever-growing event. It gives our island a welcome economic boost at the beginning of what may otherwise be the start of the slow-season.”
CaribServe, the broadband internet service of UTS will also participate as a regatta sponsor. The brand is the official internet provider of the event, providing connectivity for real-time racing results on location and other racing support activities. In addition, there will be complimentary wifi at the St. Maarten Yacht Club and at each of the night-time Regatta party venues which will be accessible to the public.
