Consumer coalition says higher hospital tariffs are illegal

PHILIPSBURG – The St. Maarten Consumer Coalition, led by Drs. Raymond Jessurun, Claire Elshot and Alberto Bute is accusing Minister Emil Lee (Public Health) of breaking the law by giving the St. Maarten Medical Center permission to increase its maximum tariffs per January 1. But Minister Lee tells a completely different story.
