PHILIPSBURG:— On Wednesday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 9:10 PM, officers from the Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) conducted a targeted control operation in the Dutch Quarter/Belvedere area at the Tata Roundabout. This operation is part of an ongoing initiative, authorized by the Prosecutor’s Office, aimed at enhancing public safety through the exercise of stop-and-search powers granted to KPSM officers.
