Willemstad/Philipsburg - Mr. Bob Traa, acting president of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint
Maarten (CBCS), resigns due to personal reasons. Traa notified the Board of Supervisors of the
CBCS of his resignation on November 28, 2019. The Supervisory Board regrets, but respects Mr.
Traa’s decision.
In the short period of time that Mr. Traa served as President of the CBCS, Traa made a significant contribution to the Bank. Traa, thanks to his extensive knowledge and experience, has given more substance to the elaboration of macro-economic issues, with a specific attention for the characteristics of each of the Countries
