Post Hurricanes Irma and Maria, one of the challenges faced at the fire and Ambulance building is mold in their air-conditioning system. After having some delays with insurance payouts settled, Stichting Overheidsgebouwen SOG, the present owner of the building, is now ready, to begin with, repairs to the building. These repairs will require the temporary relocation of the occupants. The planning was to start at the beginning of January 2020, but after meeting with the unions and visiting the building of the Fire Department, Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs requested that the works start as soon as possible. The repairs
