PHILIPSBURG:--- The Faraja day treatment centre of the MHF, has about 30 clients, of which most come to the Faraja Centre daily. In the last half-year, three clients required (new) glasses to continue their Faraja programs, education and jobs. Since they were unable to pay for this themselves, MHF staff member Suzanne Beeldsnijder reached out to the community to ask for help. Owner of St. Maarten Optical N.V. Rick Heemskerk responded and generously provided the required specific glasses for all three clients!
''We are truly grateful for the donations because it allows our clients to keep learning and improving
