PHILIPSBURG:—Tuesday, September 10, 2019, marked the beginning of a New Parliamentary (PY 2019-2020) Year for the Parliament of Sint Maarten.
September 10, 2019, also marked the second year that the Parliament of Sint Maarten recognized persons in the community for deeds worth mentioning. Last year Parliament recognized persons who were helpful in their communities, after the passing of the devastating Hurricane Irma.
This year Parliament recognized persons and organizations for their contribution in protecting our environment for our future generations during the reception held at Sheer restaurant on the occasion of the Opening of the New Parliamentary Year.
