~ Eight candidates heading to the polls under PFP~
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Party for Progress headed by Melissa Gumbs was the first of nine political parties to submit their list to the Voting Bureau on Thursday. The list that was submitted has 8 candidates which she described as strong.
Gumbs called on eligible voters to come out on Friday to endorse their new political party if they would like to see changes in the political arena on St. Maarten.
Candidates on the PFP slate are as follows:-
