Power issue hits TelEm Group Cable TV services for second time. | SMN News

PHILIPSBURG:--- A second power system failure has again caused damage to TelEm Group equipment located in Madame Estate, resulting in interruptions in CableNet, TelTV, and CableTV services Monday evening.

Late last month an electrical problem at the CableTV Headend in Madame Estate caused similar damage to equipment, affecting the same services.

The latest incident occurred on Monday evening with technicians reporting that the power issue this time was not the same as the first.

 Manager, Core Networks, Mr. Percival Cocks, said engineers began working on the problem right away Monday night and managed to restore CableNet services that same evening.
