PHILIPSBURG:--- In connection with the Second Day Parade which is scheduled for Tuesday May 1st 2018 the following road closures will take place.
At 06.00 a.m. Front Street and all alleys leading to Front Street will be closed to all traffic.
At 10.30 a.m. Nisbet road will be closed at Salt Pickers Round about. No traffic will be allowed in the Direction of Prins Bernard Brug. Soualiga Boulevard will be closed at Rock Salt drive. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of the Salt Pickers round about. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at the Hensey Beaujon Street. No traffic will be allow in the direction of Salt Picker Round about
At 12.00 p.m. Voges Street will be closed between the Cannegieter Street and Front Street. This street will only be used by the emergency services. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at the Percey Labega Street. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Salt Pickers round about.
At 12.30 p.m. Cannegieter Street will be closed at Manzanilla steeg. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Percey Labega Street. Long wall road closed at Percey Labega Street. No traffic will be allowed at Kerkhof Street. Little Bay road will be closed at Fort Willem road. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Front Street and Kerkhof Street. Back Street will be closed Manzanilla Steeg. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Kerkhof Street.
At 04.20 p.m. Juancho Yrausquin Boulevard will be closed at Welvaart Brug. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of W.G. Buncamper road. W.G. Buncamper road closed at Freedom Fighters Round about. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Juancho Yrausquin Boulevard.
At 04.40 p.m. Sucker garden road closed at Freedom Fighters round about. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Walter Nisbet road. Walter Nisbet road closed at Salt Picker round about. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Freedom Fighters round about. Soualiga Boulevard closed at Rock Salt Drive. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Salt Pickers round about. Peterson Street closed at the Salt Picker round about. No traffic will be allowed on the salt Picker round about. Walter Nisbet road closed at Codville Webster Street. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of the Salt Pickers Round about.
Directly after the last vehicle in the carnival parade has passed those streets that were closed, they will be reopened to regular traffic. After the parade has gone onto the Soualiga Boulevard the Salt Pickers round about will remain partially closed to allow regular traffic to go into the direction of Prins Bernard brug and Freedom Fighters Round about.
