PHILIPSBURG:— The Department of Culture within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport (MECYS) enthusiastically supports art initiatives that not only serve to entertain but also aid to educate and bring about awareness. On Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at the National Institute of Arts (NIA) at the John Larmonie Centre, in Studio 1, the Department of Culture cordially invites the St. Maarten general public to the premiere of “The Challenge”, a short film about domestic violence.
The film is directed by Mr. Joel Ayuk of CaniTV, a service he executed upon the request of the Safe Haven
