PHILIPSBURG:--- On August 29th2019, The Principal of St. Maarten Academy P.S.V.E, Mrs. Lavern Nelson and her staff, hosted their first general parent/guardian evening for the academic year 2019-2020. This meeting was a great success as many parents attended to hear of the new developments at the school and to meet their child’s mentors for the first time.
During the meeting, the theme “S.O.A.R”, which will be used for this school year and stands for Show integrity, Own your learning, Accept responsibly, Respect self and others were introduced to the parents. This was done to reinforce the idea that
