PHILIPSBURG:— St. Maarten was amongst 18 Caribbean countries represented at the United Nations (UN) 3rd Annual Coordination Meeting, held in Barbados on November 27 and 28.
The meeting was organized and funded by the UN and co-hosted by the government of Barbados for 18 Caribbean countries signatory of the UN Multi-Country Sustainable Framework (UN-MSDF). The UN-MSDF is a plan for UN agencies, funds, and programs for the period 2017-2021 in support of the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in the Caribbean.
