THE HAGUE:— On Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tightened the travel advice for Sint Maarten to code orange (only necessary trips). The ministry decided not to recommend vacation trips to the island because of the increase in coronavirus infections.
The ministry urges people not to travel to St. Maarten unless absolutely necessary. Travelers from Sint Maarten are advised to quarantine for a fortnight. Code yellow applies to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao (note, security risks).
