The Collectivite invests 1.6 M € to rehabilitate the Sandy Ground Bridge. | SMN News

MARIGOT:— After funding a number of costly emergency repairs damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017 and in 2019 on the Sandy Ground Bridge, the Collective de Saint-Martin decided to fund the total renovation of the structure, including its metal framework and equipment. President Daniel Gibbs has requested that this work be done as quickly as possible to allow optimal operation of the bridge for the users.
In order to accomplish this work, the authorities are obliged to immobilize the bridge during various work periods.
The first phase of work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 9, 2019,
