WILLEMSTAD:--- Following our press release of September 20, 2017, the board of the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfund Caribbean Region (PBCCG) would like to notify that they have allocated, from the Nature & Culture Relief Fund, the total amount of $110,000 to several foundations/organizations of the Windward Islands. We know that this amount is in no way sufficient to cover the devastation caused by the hurricane Irma and Maria in September, but will at least alleviate the pressure to meet the specific and unique needs of the nature and culture community including immediate recovery and preservation of artwork, tools, equipment, and facilities.
Underneath we have listed the name of the foundations/organizations which have received a subsidy allocation and the reason for the subsidy granted:

We are especially thankful for the generous extra contribution of the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds in the Netherlands which helped made these grants possible.
As mentioned in our previous communication we are still in communication with other potential donor organizations, including PBC in the Netherlands, to contribute to Nature & Culture Relief fund. We believe that our 64+ years of experience on these islands, with people on the ground make us the most capable partner to aid the nature and culture NGO’s under these circumstances. Anyone or any organization that wants to contribute to our fund, can contact us via This email address is being protected from spambots.
