AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands:--- The recruitment campaign ‘Lawyer in the Caribbean’ of VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne was awarded the ‘Gouden Toga’ (Golden Robe) for 2017. This award for the best legal recruitment campaign is presented annually by the Dutch legal magazine Mr. On Friday 5 January 5, managing partner Focco Lunsingh Scheurleer and associate Vincent Abbing received the ‘Gouden Toga’ in Amsterdam.
The winner of the ‘Gouden Toga’ is chosen every year by a jury of experts in the field of HR and communication. This year’s jury included, amongst others, a lawyer and a professor of Organization and Legal Services. Other nominees for this year’s award included large and renowned offices such as Allen & Overy, Bird & Bird and NautaDutilh.
Managing partner Focco Lunsingh Scheurleer commented: “With our winning campaign ‘Lawyer in the Caribbean’ we want to show what the legal profession in the Caribbean entails, and what you can expect as an experienced or starting lawyer at a top law firm in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.” According to the jury report of Mr., this objective has definitely been achieved: “It’s an original campaign that paints a very realistic picture of the target group’s dream for the future.” In addition, the jury praises the well-balanced text-to-image ratio and the clear language and content, which ensure that it is absolutely clear who VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne is looking for and what the firm has to offer the candidates.
