Like every year, the national holiday rhymed with popular success, this Friday, July 14 in the French part. Whether for the traditional parade or even for the Republican glass and the fireworks preceding the concert on the Marigot Sea Front, the public responded.

As usual, the morning was devoted to official celebrations, starting with an ecumenical mass in the Catholic Church of Marigot. Elected officials, civil and military authorities as well as members of the government of Sint Maarten then attended the traditional July 14 parade on rue de la République before going to the gardens of the Hôtel de la Collectivité for the laying of wreaths in front of the Memorial.
