Son fires shots at family home. Suspect remains on the run | SOUALIGA NEWSDAY

DUTCH QUARTER – The Police Detective Department is presently investigating a case which took place on Sunday August 4th at approximately 3.00 p.m. involving a male suspect identified with initials M.E.C.

According to the reports, several gun shots were fired at the home of his father located in the 911 Project in Dutch Quarter. The shooting took place shortly after a heavy discussion between the suspect and his father.

After committing this act, the suspect fled the scene. Luckily no one was injured during the shooting. The Forensic investigators were on the scene to collect evidence.

The reason for this shooting is still under investigation. The suspect has not yet been arrested and has not been seen since this incident took place. (Sint Maarten Police Force)
