PHILIPSBURG:--- Last week to mark their end-of-year events and activities, Landsloterij Director Angelo Guillermo and the Depot Holder of Landsloterij on St. Maarten, Lynette de Weever, held an informal evening meeting at Bayside Restaurant to give a donation of $500 each to three non-profit organizations—I Can Foundation, National Institute of the Arts (NIA) Youth Orchestra, and the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
Landsloterij, in existence for more than 60 years on all islands of the former Netherlands Antilles, and now Dutch Caribbean is the only authorized seller of lottery tickets whose entire proceeds go to the community.
