The annual Black History Observance month starts on February 1st, 2020. It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora. Black History Month is a time to reflect on what it means to be an African descendant. It is also a time to reflect back on the activists and organizers of the past who fought for racial equality for everyone.
